Yes, pumpkin pie. A can of pumpkin still languished in the cupboard from last fall and so we had our first pumpkin pie of the season. There are plans for many more!

In the garden the tomatoes are growing like I’ve never experienced. I am eating them daily and still have plenty to freeze. The blueberries are done for the season, at least in our yard, and the leaves are starting to turn red. Yet another sign fall is coming.

I have been knitting another Barley by TinCan Knits in the same yellow Cascade yarn I was working with last week. That and my neighbors’ beautiful flowers are keeping us in the spirit of summer.
